Unit price perI haven’t painted THIS BIG in so long. And this painting is probably one of the most sentimental, meaningful pieces I’ve done this year. It’s called “The Grown Up Dinner Party” and is a representation of being an adult but feeling like your younger self having adult conversations. Feeling like a “grown up”. I wanted to represent this through the proportions of the large table and chairs in contrast with the small items on the table.
That my friends are in their 30’s feeling like teen mums, I’m having conversations about equity and inflation and enjoying Bunnings trips on a Saturday? Like, who me? Aren’t we all just kids dressed up as adults…..? 🫣🫠
