I haven’t painted THIS BIG in so long. And this painting is probably one of the most sentimental, meaningful pieces I’ve done this year. It’s called “The Grown Up Dinner Party” and is a representation of being an adult but feeling like your younger self having adult conversations. Feeling like a “grown up”. I wanted to represent this through the proportions of the large table and chairs in contrast with the small items on the table.
